As many little girls do, I used to dream about my “Mr. Right”, the man who would sweep me off my feet and provide me with a life filled with love and never-ending happiness! Well, let’s be honest…that’s not exactly how it happened.
Rob was one of my best friends when we started dating (weird at first, yes!) and I could never have guessed that 10 years later this is where we would be. Like I said, it hasn’t been all peaches & cream. Rob and I have gone through many trying times, and we’ve both picked up some bumps and bruises along the way. If I could have foreseen some of the things we would go through, I probably would have made a run for it. But now, I can honestly say that I am so grateful for the bad times, because it’s been after the bad times that I realize just how RIGHT my Mr. Right is for me.
Rob works harder than anyone I’ve ever known. Once he starts a project he is relentless in seeing it through to completion. He doesn’t like to “play” until all the work is done, which means he frequently eats a reheated dinner around 9 or 10pm.
Whatever Rob believes in, he believes with all his heart. He doesn’t go halfway on anything. You will never find anyone more loyal, or a more devoted father. Rob loves spending time with the kids and he is extremely protective of them, so I hope there aren’t any boys that want to take Megan on a date before she’s 35!
I could go on and on for hours about just how incredible this man is, but I’m sure he’ll already be embarrassed enough when he finds out I did this, so I’d better finish this up. (Did I mention how forgiving and understanding he is??)
Rob truly is the best thing that ever happened to me. I feel so blessed to be able to share my life with him and to know that he will always be right by my side as we enjoy the good times, and strengthen each other through the bad times. Rob is my Mr. Right because he is perfect for me in every way, he is my very best friend, he loves me more than I ever imagined possible.

P.S. Rob didn't know I pulled the camera out while he was exercising his horse so I may be in trouble again, but I just love this picture of him.
