White Elephant

We recently attended the annual Bass White Elephant party. We walked away with some pretty interesting gifts: A can of Spam, a Screaming Monkey Toy (and I mean SCREAMING), some lovely 70's figurines, and Fartless Wipe Toilet Paper- which may come in handy in this house. The Valley guys will have to be the judges on this one.

Our missionary is home!

Hooray! After two long years, my little brother Dave is home from his German mission. Here's me hugging him (it's a good thing nobody took a picture a few minutes earlier when I was jumping up and down like a little kid!) Having Dave home is definitely our favorite Christmas present this year!

Megan's First Jazz Game

Well, we all knew it was going to happen. Rob has turned Megan into a Jazz freak. The other night she and Austin were watching Wonder Pets (Daddy was at the game with Jon) and suddenly she realized that they were missing pregame and promptly changed the channel. A few minutes later she came to find me and fill me in on who would be playing, who was injured, etc. I have to admit it frightened me a little bit. In any case, she went to her first game on Nov. 26th and had so much fun that she now thinks that she should always accompany her dad every time he goes.
