JDRF Walk 2011

Before Rob and I were even married, the company I worked for sponsored JDRF walks, and I would always participate. Only knowing that it was for children with diabetes, not understanding anything about their lives, just that we were raising money for a cure and I felt really good about contributing towards that.
Now that I am a mother of one of these children, my heart has a special place for every one of the these people who take a Saturday and walk for our children, who ask a few friends and coworkers to donate a few dollars, etc. Every little bit helps, every little bit does make a difference for these children and their families. We have reason to hope for a cure.
